The PortaPack attaches to your HackRF and adds a touchscreen display, navigation controls, headphone jack, a real-time clock, and micro SD card slot.
Just add a USB battery, and you’re ready to explore radio spectrum wherever you are. The PortaPack firmware runs on the fast ARM processors in your HackRF. No computer is necessary (except for reprogramming firmware).
A custom anodized aluminum case is included. The HackRF One is not included. If you don’t have one, you can purchase one here.

I am very impressed with how well this device works. I just wish it had some of the additional features as the portapack h2.. but I digress. Anyway if you’re like me who just likes to create and control mischief, then this addon for the hackRF is mandatory

Almost five stars. The five surface-mount momentaries were originally designed for the fronts of VCR’s and garage remotes; not videogame controllers.
But with the release Mayhem 2.0 firmware in 2024, there are two actual videogames included.
The inclusion of the games simply highlights a long-standing major weakness with this platform; the momentary switches *easily* break away from the PortaPack because surface mount switches like these were never intended to be mounted independently of any added structural stability aside from the brittle and weak solder dots holding the switches to the board.
