CANtact is an open source Controller Area Network (CAN) to USB interface for your computer.
It can be used to connect to CAN bus systems, including cars, heavy duty vehicles, and industrial automation systems. CANtact works on Linux, OS X, and Windows.
Includes: CANtact device, Serial to ODBII cable, USB-B to USB-A cable

The one I just got works like champ. So…I’m ordering a second, since my 2014 Ford Escape has two CAN buses available at the ODBII port. I’m picking up a ODBII splitter, an ODBII pigtail, and a DB9 from elsewhere to make a cable to hook-up that second bus so that I can handle both buses at once.
